The attacks on Tripoli Airport and the downing of the Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 in July will double hull war rates on most aviation programmes, if not triple them during renewals this quarter, according to Mr Tarik Brahimi, Director of the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers (FAIR) Aviation Pool in an interview with Middle East Insurance Review.
